Lynette, an artist and graphic designer based in Sydney, was born in Kagoshima Japan, in 1997. Having earned her Bachelor of Fine Art with a major in Painting from the National Art School in Darlinghurst in 2017, she continued to enhance her creative expertise with the completion of an Advance Diploma of Graphic Design at Design Centre Enmore, TAFE NSW, in 2022. Lynette’s artistic expression serves as visual translations of the interplay between Japanese and Australian culture, offering a unique perspective shaped by her dual heritage. Her art practice is distinguished by a commitment to deconstructing the grid in both digital and physical spaces, showcasing thoughtful exploration of form and structure in her creative process.
